In 2012, David Benham led a prayer rally outside the Democratic National Convention talking about “homosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation.” His blog post equated opposition to marriage marriage to the fight against the Nazi regime. Their statement in response to losing the series claimed, “Anyone who suggests that we hate homosexuals or people of other faiths is either misinformed or lying … We do not, nor will we ever discriminate against people who do not share our views.”
