StoryCorps recently announced that OutLoud, its division that helps capture the stories of LGBTQ people, will undertake a new initiative starting in June 2014 to record our stories. The goal of this initiative is to record stories from people who lived before the Stonewall uprisings in 1969. Stay tuned for more information about how to get involved with this program.
StoryCorps is an independent nonprofit founded in 2003 with the goal of recording and sharing the diverse experiences of people from all walks of life. Click here to learn more about StoryCorps OutLoud and to listen to some of the interviews that they have recorded to date.
