GaymerX2 will be this summer from July 11-13, 2014 in San Francisco. However, this will be the last opportunity to visit this con. Citing an over-burdening of volunteers, too rapid expansion, and financial losses from the convention, founder Matt Conn announced on Twitter that this would be the last con for a while, though he did hold out hope that future events would still be in the works.
GaymerX, started in 2012 through an outrageously successful Kickstarter, seeks to combine LGBT gamers and their allies together in a safe space where they can bond over the games they love. Tickets are available at their website, and they are still taking panel applications until April 30.
