Larry Kramer, AIDS activist, author and playwright has died at the age of 84. Kramer co-founded the Gay Men’s Health Crisis and founded Act Up during the eighties, wrote the acclaimed play The Normal Heart, and earlier this year published the second and final volume of his epic novel The American People.
