Transgender service members sue over Trump ban
In response to Mr. Trump’s directive to prohibit transgender people from serving in the armed forces, five active duty service members filed the first lawsuit. The service members argue that Trump’s ban, which may result in early termination or failure to renew their contracts, is unconstitutional.
Princess Cruises, P&O Cruises and Cunard Line to Offer Same-Sex Marriages at Sea
Carnival/Princess Cruises, P&O Cruises, and Cunard Line, following a recent Supreme Court ruling, are now offering same-sex marriage cruises. The ceremonies will be conducted by the ship Captain or Deputy Captain and will be filed in Bermuda.
Walmart found guilty of ‘harassment & intimidation’ of transgender employee
The federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) ruling stated the employee was subject to harassment and intimidation and was illegally excluded from the corporate health care policy which blocked her from receiving medically necessary care.
