Trump administration drops lawsuit against N.C. over “bathroom bill”
The U.S. Justice Department has withdrawn their lawsuit against North Carolina, which claimed discrimination against LGBT+ citizens. �This represents the first significant movement in a mess of legal action over the state�s nondiscrimination laws since a deal last month to get rid of House Bill 2. �This is the bill that caused the state to lose nearly $4 billion. �LGBT+ organizations have vowed to continue separate legal action against the HB2 replacement, which did little to curb discrimination.
