More Than 115 Anti-LGBTQ Bills Introduced in 30 States

HRC has identified and is tracking more than 115 anti-LGBTQ bills in 30 states.  Is your state on the list?  Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming.

Trump Administration Erases LGBT People from Key 2020 Census Survey

Within days of the deadline, the Census Bureau announced the Subjects Planned for the 2020 Census and American Community Survey, which included Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity.  It was soon removed, reappearing without LGBT people as a designated group, in what many believe to be the Trump Administration’s latest attempt to pretend we don’t exist, or at least attempt to silence our voices.

Price tag of North Carolina’s LGBT law: $3.76B

Despite repeated Republican assurances that North Carolina’s “bathroom bill” did not harm the state’s economy, the AP estimates the law limiting LGBT protections will cost the state more than $3.76 billion in lost business.
