Call for submissions: GLBT Book Month

By John Mack Freeman

As you know, June will mark the inaugural GLBT Book Month under the maintenance of ALA and GLBTRT. To celebrate this, I would like to feature stories of the importance of GLBT books on the News blog throughout the month. They can be personal stories of your experiences, a thought piece on why GLBT books are important, a discussion of what you or your library are planning to do for the month, or anything else that centers around the importance of GLBT books.

Submissions don’t have to be long. Most of the original content on the News blog runs somewhere between 300-1,000 words. And we’d be happy to work with you if you’re not quite sure what you want to do. Anywho, if you’re interested, contact me at johnmackfreeman at gmail dot com or just send the News Committee a message through the Contact Form at the top of the page.

Thanks in advance for your consideration,

Mack F.
