GLBTRT’s Fund Raising Committee, chaired by Erin Berman, has set a goal to raise $5,000 in 2015. Part of the money will be to support the Emerging Leader Program, part for Stonewall, and another part to continue our advocacy efforts.
We have a great start. Erin, herself, has raised over $600.00 baking cookies and selling them to the staff at her library, family, and friends. Go Erin!
Fund Raising Committee member Robert R. Newlen, Law Library of Congress and Ann Symons, GLBTRT Chair, will each donate $500.00 to the Emerging Leader fund with a match from the membership. Donate $10.00 $25.00 or more. Double our donation. When we reach $1,000, we will have $2,000. Donations can be made online here.
Now is a great time to support the ongoing good work of the Round Table. Also, it’s a great time to make a tax-deductible gift right before the year ends.
