This is wrong, Mikayla Connell is not the first trans person, or even the first mtf to enter and graduate the SFPD academy. There was another mtf officer who graduated in an earlier class under Chief Fong, right when Chief Gascon was taking over. She had troubles during field training after Gascon took over.
